The bit I like most isn't the technology.

It's the moment the owner stops guessing.

I worked with an energy broker recently who'd been trading for six years. Successful. Growing. Knew things were going well. But he couldn't tell get the same number from all the systems and suppliers hed had. Not with confidence.

It wasn't carelessness. The data was spread across eight suppliers, 71 statements, and a spreadsheet three people edited. The full picture didn't exist anywhere.

When we showed him £800,000 — confirmed, reconciled, net of clawbacks — he just stared at the screen.

Not because the number was bad. Because he'd never seen it from the system data he had

That's the moment I do this for. Not the dashboard. Not the automation. The look on someone's face when the clouds start to thin and they can see their own business clearly for the first time.

Every business owner deserves that. Most are running too hard to build it themselves.

That's where I come in.

£80,000 a year.

Not in huge businesses. In businesses with 10-25 people where the owner knows everyone's name.

A letting agency: 18 hours/week on manual reporting. £18,000 recovered.

An energy brokerage: £800,000 in net turnover reconciled between systems, Cash stuck in a admin queue of commission statements nobody knew about.

Same pattern. Different sectors. Identical problem.

Early results from real engagements. Not projections.

The money isn't missing. It's just invisible.

Everyone's always too busy. But they'll chat for as long as you want.

They're not lying about being busy. They ARE busy. But a huge chunk of that busy-ness is work that shouldn't exist.

Twenty minutes copying data between systems. An hour building a report that's wrong by tomorrow. Three people touching the same spreadsheet because there's no single view.

They've normalised it.

£80-100k a year in businesses with 10-25 staff. Every sector I've worked in.

Busy is not the same as efficient.

Most business owners think they know where the time goes.

They're usually wrong.

We see it in letting agencies, energy brokerages, healthcare practices — the inefficiency is invisible. It's been there so long it looks normal.

8 questions. 2 minutes. A score showing how visible your operations actually are.

Most business owners score under 50%.

The question that keeps business owners awake isn't "is my team working hard enough?"

It's "what am I not seeing?"

One energy broker had £143,000 stuck in a processing queue he didn't know existed. Not lost. Just stuck. Six years of trading. No idea.

It's not about trusting your team. It's about trusting the system your team is working inside.

If the only way to know what's happening is to ask — the system is broken. Not the people.

Nobody read the manual.

Every NHS trust I worked in. New system. Big rollout. Within six months, half the team had built their own workaround.

I see the same thing in every private business now. Letting agencies. Energy brokerages. Healthcare practices. The systems all work individually.

But nobody designed the bit in between. The handoff. The moment data should flow automatically but instead someone copies it into a spreadsheet.

That gap is where the money goes. In the NHS, millions. In a 15-person business, £80-100k a year.

Same problem. Different scale.

He knew clawbacks happened. Every broker does. Suppliers reclaim commission when contracts fall through early. It's part of the model. it was a managed problem

Never seen it as a single number reconciled across all suppliers. Suppliers and contracts clawed back the most, rates, commission

It was hiding in plain sight. Inside 100's of separate statements. Across six years. Processed by people who each saw their own piece of it.

Nobody was doing anything wrong. The information was there. It had just never been pulled into one view where someone could actually see it and act on it.

That's the thing about visibility problems. The data isn't missing. It's just scattered across too many places for any one person to see the whole picture.

Until you build the view.

You don't have a productivity problem.

Your team IS productive. They're working flat out. They're just spending a massive chunk of that effort on things that shouldn't require a human being.

Building reports a dashboard could generate. Copying data between systems. Chasing updates that should be visible to everyone. Processing statements that should flow automatically.

That's not laziness. That's a system problem dressed up as a people problem.

Fix the system. The productivity appears.

I'm autistic. I miss social cues. I take things literally. And I notice things that other people have stopped seeing.

20 years in the NHS. Thousands of staff. Hundreds of systems. The same problem everywhere — good people working flat out with no visibility of what was actually happening.

When I moved to the private sector, I expected it to be different. A 15-person letting agency should be simpler than a 15,000-person NHS trust.

It isn't. The pattern is identical.

My brain is wired to see those patterns. It's not a skill I learned. It's how I'm built.

Five problems. Every business. Every time.

The CRM nobody trusts. The person manually bridging systems every day. The owner who can't step away. Compliance in a spreadsheet that works until it doesn't. A team that starts every morning checking what's on fire.

In a letting agency, it's pipeline data. In an energy brokerage, it's commission statements. In a healthcare practice, it's patient referrals. Different data, same bottleneck.

The industry changes. The problems don't.
