With rising fuel bills becoming increasingly costly - save yourself trips to the supermarket to stock up on essentials and have your milk delivered to your doorstep.

We deliver milk, potatoes, eggs, yogurts and creams - all sourced from local suppliers (Barkhouse Farm in Shelley and Longley Farm in Holmfirth)

As a local milk man we are competing with two national delivery companies in our area. We welcome the competition as it allows us to promote what we do in comparison to our rivals.

1. Cheaper. A pint is 94p compared to £1.10 (Modern) and £1.25 (McQueens) *taken off website

2. Local. Milk sourced from a farm in Shelley and delivered by local people.

3. Quieter. 80% of our deliveries are from electric vans which are quieter and environmentally friendlier.

4. Personal touch. There isn’t a Silverwoods Dairy Call Centre. If you want to adjust your order or there has been a problem, you can text or call the owner of the business and we will sort it.

5. Service. As it’s our business we take pride in getting things right. Mistakes can happen but we keep these to a minimum and deal with problems on the day because our reputation in the community is very valuable to us.

As the morning start to get colder, save yourself a walk to the shops and have your milk, yogurts and eggs delivered.

Starting deliveries also helps support a LOCAL business who employ LOCAL people and use LOCAL suppliers. Of the three milk delivery companies that operate in this area, we are the only local company. The other two are a national companies where your money leaves the local economy.
