DID YOU KNOW? Chainsaw addition🌲⛓️

* Tree surgeons can identify hundreds of tree species… but still call every tiny branch “that annoying one.”

* Wet branches are approximately 400x heavier than dry ones. (Scientifically unproven, but every grounds team agrees 😂)

* A tree job can involve climbing 60–80 feet in the air… while pretending not to notice the customer watching from the window.

* One small tree somehow creates enough branches to fill an entire truck twice.

* The climber always says:
“Just one more branch.”
It is never just one more branch.

* The weather forecast for tree work is usually:
Too hot, too cold, too wet, or “perfect timing for 40mph wind.”

* Every tree team has one person whose entire role is pointing at branches and saying:
“Mind your head.”

* Dragging branches to the chipper counts as cardio, strength training, and emotional damage all at once.

* No matter how organised the team is, someone will always lose the fuel can.

🌱 On big commercial sites, the mower operator spends more time turning around than a Formula 1 driver.

* Sites can include business parks, retail parks, housing estates, schools, industrial estates, and commercial properties.

* Work changes depending on the season:
* Spring/Summer = grass cutting, spraying, hedge work
* Autumn = leaf clearance
* Winter = tree work, pruning, and site clearances

* Teams often travel long distances between sites in one day, so route planning is important.

* Grass cutting isn’t just mowing lawns — operators also use strimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and ride-on machinery to keep sites maintained.

Safe to say after a full day on the sites… we’re absolutely grassed 😴🌱🤣
