A nice show of weanlings forward today with ring full of buyers.
Trade seems to be on fire with all things considered at the other end with the beef prices on the downward slump.
➡️Top of the shop saw the Watkins family with Charolais steers 13m at £1780.
The same vendor also topping the heifers with a pen of Charolais x at £1640.
➡️A nice run of feeding bulls forward with the best of the suckler bred bulls topping out at £1480 from the Evans family.
Plenty of demand for weanlings many more could have been sold‼️

Following on from the weanlings we had the herd dispersal on behalf A Hughes, The Springs which saw a fantastic run of Limousin x and Hereford x cows with calves at foot which sold extremely well.
➡️Top of the shop was a Limousin cow with a steer calf at foot topping out at £3800.
➡️Plenty in and around that £3500 mark.
Overall average for all the outfits was £3175‼️
➡️The in-calf cows topped out at £2450 twice with an average of £2320.
➡️14-month-old Hereford bulling heifers sold to £1600.
