New Innovation & Resilience Grant Fund opening soon

A new round of East Devon’s Innovation and Resilience Fund opens in April.

Grants of between £3,000 and £30,000 will be available to support transformational projects that will lead to increase in productivity or creation of high value jobs. A match commitment of 30% of the total project cost will be required.

To determine eligibility, please read the IRF3 Policy.

If you wish to discuss a project idea with the funders, there are two in-person drop-in sessions at the East Devon Business Centre in Honiton on Thursday 21st March. You can sign up to a morning or an afternoon session.

Your chance to shape economic priorities in East Devon

The economy team at East Devon District Council has developed a draft Economic Development Strategy to help address core economic challenges and opportunities.

The business community of East Devon is invited to provided their feedback on the draft strategy.

Please share your views via a short online survey in order to shape the strategy, share the challenges you are facing and how they can be best addressed.

The team at EDDC wants to ensure that the strategy focuses on the priorities that matter to you and your business.

Magic Tenner week is coming to Ottery St Mary next month. If you run a shop, service or any kind of business and would like to be part of the promotion, please let us know. All you need to do is think of something you could sell for a tenner!

We still have space for a few more businesses to take part in Magic Tenner week - we will be promoting local businesses and you will have the opportunity to help boost the local economy. Every £10 spent in local shops generates £50 of local activity and keeps our shops open. If you are an Ottery business and want to take part please comment here or email [email protected]
We would particularly like to hear from local service providers (web designers, accountants, architects!), sports clubs, community groups and activities. You can offer £10 off something, or an introductory fee - anything that includes £10 and is local to Ottery!!!
