February Grants Update!

Great news from DEFRA yesterday regarding Capital Grants, HLS payment rates, and FETF Grants:

Capital Grants: Funding has been secured for 2025/26, allowing the 4,040 applications currently on hold to be processed. However, future grants will be subject to a cap.

HLS Payment Rates: In recognition of the vital role played by those with HLS agreements in protecting and managing these sites, payment rates are being increased.

FETF Grants: DEFRA will open a new round of the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund this spring, offering grants between £1,000 and £25,000. Further details will be available once guidance is released.

The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) has recently opened the window for applications to the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2024, which includes three different grants designed to improve productivity, manage slurry, and improve animal health and welfare on farms.
