Wendy, our Innovation Director, recently joined Ben Thompson on Get Radio's Business Brunch to discuss one of her favourite topics – telling Oxfordshire's innovation story.

During the conversation, Wendy explored what makes Oxfordshire's innovation ecosystem so unique, from its world-leading science and technology sector to the people, businesses and partnerships driving innovation across the county.

She also discussed why storytelling is such an important part of the innovation landscape. By showcasing the ideas, collaborations and successes happening across the region, we can help attract talent, investment and new opportunities while celebrating the organisations making a real impact.

Thank you to Ben and the Get Radio team for hosting such a great conversation.

It was fantastic to bring the Central Management Team together yesterday for the first time in a while. A huge thank you to Grassroots for hosting us, and to Taylors for providing a delicious lunch!

The day was full of great conversations, collaboration, and forward thinking as we worked together on the Central Regions Team project. We discussed opportunities, challenges, successes, and future priorities — leaving with plenty of ideas, actions, and momentum moving forward.

It was also great to welcome our new Commercial Centre Manager, Michael McHale, into the discussions alongside the wider team: Anna Goodman, Henry Brown FARLA MNAEA Ba Hons, Amy Waller, Professor Matt Freeman, Tom El-Shawk, Graham M., Garrick Hurter, and Trudy Franklin-Slattery.

A really positive and productive day with an excellent team. Looking forward to what’s ahead!
