Planning Consent Granted.
The Standard Restaurant, Oxford

Our proposals for The Standard Restaurant, located in a building owned by St John’s College have been granted consent.

The sensitive reinstatement of the historic facade, inspired by a visit to the college archive, was much welcomed by the conservation officer.

A new dining room and kitchen to the rear make the full use of the long narrow plot. There were several layers of complexity including varying site levels, a tree in the wrong place, acoustics, drainage and M&E to name but a few. The full consultant team worked hard to achieve this result and we look forward to celebrating with the client and discussing next steps. Watch this space.
