It's been an uncomfortable year and many of us have had our limits tested in one way or another. 2020 has pushed us out of our comfort zones and required us to adapt like never before... but it's not over yet. And whilst the pain and fear of this year have been exponential- so has the growth.

So let's not stop now.

I've had to recently give myself a nudge to get out of my comfort zone because, frankly, I had fallen back in and did not want to move. I'd let the growing pains get to me.

I soon realised, however, that's not where the magic happens.

So whatever your stalling on, or talking yourself out of or telling yourself is 'too big'... I invite you to sit with it, and ask yourself - what if I did it?

How would 2021 look to you if you said yes to that collaboration, project or idea? Or if you said no to the 'safe bet' and did the thing that feels scary as hell and like it might propel you into outer space?

For me, that thing is as simple as being here posting content as myself. I'm so used to doing it for others that it feels scary not to have a client to 'hide' behind. But I'm showing up anyway.

The common denominator in the extraordinary feats achieved by tiny ants is this - they work together and benefit from the strength of their community. Let’s be more like ants!

Hi Friends, I'm Beth 🌞

Welcome to my new venture 'Beth. W Digital!'

Unpredictable times call for adaptability and I'm excited to share with you all what I've been cooking up in my cocoon of isolation 🦋 I love a story, so I'll start off by giving you mine...

Before lockdown started I wasn't really sure which direction I was going in... Right about the time that things started to get serious, I had planned to leave my home in Madeira, go travelling and try to find some clarity in my usual method of 'adventure and unfamiliar places'. It quickly became clear to me, however, that this was no longer an option. With the 'open road ahead' a lot less open, and a persistent feeling of uncertainty about my next move I was, as I'm sure many people have been, forced to take an honest look at where I was in life vs where I wanted to be.

I knew I had valuable and creative skills, I knew I wanted to do something helpful and worthwhile with them and I knew there must be something out there I could wholeheartedly put my energy into... enter Beth W Digital! ✨🌱✨

I've always been a communicator, a promoter of things I believe in and an all-around chatterbox when it comes to my friends' projects, businesses and great ideas. I love to encourage people to follow their passions and get their unique magic out into the world. I also love to write and create things myself. Call it Divine Timing, call it luck or call it the Facebook Algorithm... but just as I was considering to what purpose I could put all my skills in this crazy time... the Universe / the Internet threw me an Online Marketing Course.

Perhaps it should have been an obvious choice to me before, but regardless of that, I feel extremely grateful to have spent the last 2 months not only in good health but also learning to do something that makes so much sense for me... and for the current times. It's no secret that the recent lockdown has affected a lot of local businesses, so marketing strategies are more important now than ever. I believe that with the right attitude, businesses can not only survive but THRIVE with the current changes that we are collectively going through. How can you use this time to evolve?
