Summary

We are seeking a dedicated House Clearance Operative to join our site team. This role is vital in helping us deliver efficient property clearance services, supporting our mission to provide top-quality solutions with a positive attitude. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the industry and drive our ethos of giving opportunity

Responsibilities

Conduct property clearances efficiently and safely, ensuring all items are handled with care.
Assist with all tasks as needed, such as driving to and from sites as well as to our onward recycling centres.
Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the clearance process.
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Support team members in completing daily tasks and achieving company goals.
Manage waste disposal responsibly, adhering to environmental standards.
Maintain equipment and tools used during clearance activities.
Contribute positively to the team environment by demonstrating a proactive attitude.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a similar role, such as removal or clearance, is essential.
Must have a full clean driving license.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to property clearance.

Torbay Clearance Services have been delighted to have donated our time and resources to Rowcroft Hospice by collecting Christmas Trees in and around the Torbay and Teignbridge areas.
TCS have visited over 600 homes and some of those had more than one tree!
Other local companies have also given their support, and it's great to be part of a worth while fundraising scheme generating over £13K for Rowcroft.
Thanks to our team members for volunteering extra hours and weekend work in the cold and windy conditions!
Special mention to TCS's Jayden for co-ordinating this massive task!
Oh and don't be sad for the trees, they are being mulched up to make chippings etc for use around the lovely Rowcroft grounds.
