🐾 And that's our first week as Throne Vets!

It's hard to believe we've already finished our first week on the job.

It's been wonderful to finally meet some of our first clients and their pets. Seeing everything we've worked towards become a reality has made all the hard work worthwhile.

It hasn't all been about consultations though! We've also been busy making a few more improvements to the van and had the opportunity to visit a local nursery, where the children had great fun playing vets and bandaging up their toy animals. There may even be a few future vets in the making!

We're looking forward to meeting many more pets and their owners over the coming weeks and continuing to build the kind of practice we've always wanted to create.

A huge thank you to everyone who has trusted us with their pets, recommended us to friends and family, or supported us from the very beginning. We really do appreciate it.

This past week we spent two busy days at BVA Live (a major veterinary conference), and it's fair to say we came away feeling excited and energised.

Alongside clinical lectures and sessions on nursing utilisation and business development, we had the chance to catch up with suppliers and explore some exciting next steps for the practice.

It was great to see how our practice management software continues to develop, compare options for in-house blood analysers and start planning for future additions to the practice, including dental X-ray.

The highlight though was the people. So many warm conversations with others who are genuinely excited about what Throne Vets is building. Starting something new can feel daunting at times, so that kind of encouragement means a lot.

We've got plenty of ideas and even more motivation for what's ahead. 🐾
