🌟 We're Hiring! – 2 x 16 Hour Positions Available 🌟
Location: Glen Road Stores
Position: Convenience Store Assistant (Part-Time – 16 hours per week)

Are you friendly, reliable, and enjoy working with people?
We’re looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join our team at our busy convenience store in Peebles.

What You’ll Do

Provide excellent customer service with a smile

Operate the till and handle cash/card transactions

Refill shelves and maintain store displays

Help keep the store clean, tidy, and welcoming

Work as part of a small, supportive team

What We’re Looking For

A positive attitude and great communication skills

Reliability and willingness to be flexible with shifts

Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided

Hours & Pay

2 x Part-Time Roles (16 hours per week each)

Includes some evenings and weekend shifts

Competitive hourly rate (discussed at interview)

Wilderhaugh is open 24/7 as normal as we are a designated site for emergency services all our other stores are closed and the staff are all having a well deserved break so they can spend time with their family and loved ones

As of today paper notes will no longer be accepted in our stores.

We will continue to accept the plastic notes going forward.

As a mark of respect and to acknowledge the sad passing and funeral of
Her Majesty the Queen,
we will be closing the premises from 10.30am to 2.30pm, on Monday 19th September 2022.
We send our sincerest condolences to all those who are in mourning.

RIP Queen Elizabeth, April 1926 to September 2022.

We are all heartbroken to hear the news of The Queens passing yesterday.

Our thoughts go out to all of the Royal Family at this difficult time.

She was a Wife, a Mother, a Grandmother and a Great Grandmother and will be missed by all.
