SM Carpentry

SM Carpentry is a smart and modern business providing quality and precision to every job.

Based in Pembrokeshire, we cover all aspects of carpentry and specialise in contemporary, custom made garden rooms.

31/03/2026

We’ve been a little quiet on socials lately due to juggling work and family life, but behind the scenes it’s been non-stop 🔨

Over the past few months, I’ve been working on all different carpentry related jobs including roof structures, stair installations, installation of windows and doors, kitchens, media walls and everything else in between.

Here is a selection of some of my most recent projects with more to follow soon… ‼️

As always, send us a message for any carpentry quotes and enquiries 🛠️

⭐️ STAIRS TRANSFORMATION ⭐️

This customer wanted to transform their dated, rounded stair balustrade to a new, square contemporary look. We replaced the handrail, spindles, base rail and cladded the string and newel post which gave it a whole new modern look.

We also added shaker style wall panelling throughout the hall, stairs and landing and built in under stairs storage.

This simplistic under stairs storage design features new shelves and flat panel doors to make use of the previously wasted space.

Looking forward to seeing it all decorated. Sometimes the smallest of changes can make a massive difference 🤩

⭐️ KITCHEN REFIT ⭐️

New kitchen day for this customer who chose this smart and stylish pebble coloured kitchen from Wrens.

Work completed included a full kitchen refit with contemporary square cornice and pelmet, integrated dishwasher, installation of oven and hood and a fitted oak laminate worktop.

⭐ HERRINGBONE FLOORING ⭐

This recent customer chose an oak coloured LVT click flooring from Howdens. This classic herringbone style is not only timeless, but it gives the room real character and warmth.

LVT flooring is stylish, durable and a lot more affordable than real wood or stone flooring. It also comes in many colours and designs to choose from.

The benefits of LVT click flooring include;
• water resistance
• scuff & stain resistance
• long residential guarantees
• realistic natural wood/stone effect designs

Now that spring has finally arrived 🌱☀️ we’re delighted to be taking bookings for outdoor jobs again 🤩

⭐️ MEDIA WALL⭐️

And the love for media walls continues….

This design features a 3/4 height log storage space, shelves and cupboards with LED strip lighting, bespoke units and is finished with a classic oak beam. This design not only looks stylish but maximises any wasted space that’s not being used to its full potential.

This customer chose to have our media wall finished off and painted by The Pembrokeshire Spray Company who did a great job as usual.
