Discover exceptional contemporary craft and art at the Perthshire Artisans Summer Exhibition, ASSEMBLE 2026, featuring the work of over 30 talented makers and artists.

Explore a vibrant, design-led collection of original work available to view and buy, including paintings, prints, stone carvings, ceramics, glass, jewellery, wood and cards. From striking statement pieces to beautifully handcrafted gifts, there’s something to inspire every collector and visitor.

Open daily from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 2 August, 10am–5pm at the Civic Hall, 2 High Street, Perth, PH1 5PH, (the river end of High Street). An accessible venue and free entry.

“As an Ulster Scot, I was surrounded by a family of makers and crafters. As I have gotten older, I have become more interested in where my raw materials come from and have spent a great deal of time sourcing locally produced wools. The research and learning about this has led me to deepen that interest – to become even more connected with the raw materials.”

🆕 Starting on Saturday 27 June, this Tiny Glass Cabinet exhibition by artist Morven Stewart, created in collaboration with Our Seas—a coalition promoting sustainable coastal use—explores Scotland’s landscapes through careful observation and sketching.

The work encourages a deeper appreciation of the country’s mountains and coastlines while emphasising their conservation, capturing fleeting, atmospheric moments shaped by light, weather and place, and reflecting the emotional connection between land and sea.

Morven Stewart - Artist and Wanderer👇

Morven Stewart’s wanderings take her from snow-capped summits to sandy shores. Although she is based at Perth Creative Exchange, her practice is largely nomadic, often carried out from a rucksack or bike panniers as she travels across Scotland. When working outdoors, the weather determines her materials: watercolours and inks on calm, sunlit days, and oils or pastels in the midst of gales and storms. This responsive approach results in work that is immediate and expressive, rooted in the experience of being immersed in the landscape.

And it's in PERTH!

A whole gaggle of artists (correct collective noun there 😂) from Perth Creative Exchange are having an outdoor exhibition in St Paul's Square in, yes, Perth!

The opening event is on the 20th June at 1pm. Would you like to join us for a picnic? Of course you would! 🍓

Cafe St. Paul's will be coming along with a gazebo and cake, but you're very welcome to bring your own picnic too 😊
