We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of P/M Ian McLellan, a true legend of piping and the pipe band world. His influence on the art form is immeasurable. Ian set a standard of excellence never before seen at the World Pipe Band Championships, guiding the Strathclyde Police Pipe Band to an extraordinary twelve titles between 1976 and 1991. His legacy has inspired generations, including the past and present leadership of FMM.

May he rest in peace. 🤍
