Leading the way is the remarkable Glenlivet Eternal Collection 56 Year Old, the second release in the series. Released in 2025 and limited to just 60 bottles worldwide, this exceptionally aged single malt is presented in a striking sculptural display designed by Fredrikson Stallard.

This month, we’re taking a closer look at the world of independent bottling 🥃

We have plenty to choose from - starting with some of the biggest names in independent bottling, including Kingsbury's Ardbeg 1967 and Bowmore 1966, alongside sought-after Samaroli releases such as Tormore 1966 and the ‘Flowers’ bottlings of Springbank 1965, Bowmore 1972 and Ardbeg 1975.

There are also more than 60 Old Malt Cask bottlings, with vintages spanning the 1960s to the 1980s. Some highlights include Tomatin 1962, Glen Grant 1967, Highland Park 1970, Ardbeg 1972 and Brora 1981.

There is also a remarkable selection from The Scotch Malt Wh**ky Society, including 1960s and 1970s vintages, as well as the first release in the Lagavulin 1980 series, 111.1.

With one of the most remarkable collections of Johnnie Walker ever to come to auction, there’s still time to explore an incredible range of rare, historic and highly collectible releases.

Among the highlights is this Johnnie Walker 1805 Celebration Blend, created to mark the 200th anniversary of John Walker’s birth. This wh**ky bottle was designed to sail the seas 🌊

In 1932, Johnnie Walker introduced Swing, a wh**ky created with the international traveller in mind, particularly those crossing the Atlantic by liner. Designed by Sir Alexander Walker, Swing’s distinctive bottle featured a convex base that allowed it to rock back and forth with the movement of a ship, rather than easily toppling over. A clever piece of packaging, it was a fitting innovation for a brand whose history has long been intertwined with international travel.

Swing also holds a special place in Johnnie Walker’s history: it was the last blend created by Sir Alexander Walker, making it an important chapter in the story of the brand as well as a fascinating example of wh**ky design and packaging.
