Can you believe another lady had the same dress 😂💜

I mean, how dare that happen at my cousin's wedding on Saturday lol. Luckily, it was all indoors at a hotel in Maidstone, yet we were still blown away, not by the wind, but by how amazing the bride and groom were and how all the family scrubbed up for the event. 🥳

Just waiting to see if anyone has photo or video evidence of me on the dancefloor as I promised, shaping some moves 💃

Saturday and Sunday were the highs; now I'm on the comedown from the event, sitting here comparing it to Social Media Algorithms, on a grey, chilly, wet Monday 🙈

One minute your content is flying, the next, you get zero likes and comments, but trust me, when people will be watching 👀

Did you know you can control who sees your LinkedIn profile photo?

It's a small setting that many people overlook, but it can make a big difference depending on how you use LinkedIn.

To update your profile photo visibility:

➡️ Go to your profile
➡️ Click on your profile photo
➡️ Select "Visibility"
➡️ Choose who can see your photo

Your options include:

👥 Everyone on LinkedIn
🤝 Your network
🔗 Your 1st-degree connections only
🙈 Nobody

Why might you change it?

💜 Recruiters and business owners often want maximum visibility to build trust and recognition

💜 Some professionals prefer only their connections to see their photo for privacy reasons or perhaps due to their job roles.

💜 If you're actively networking, a visible profile photo can increase profile views and connection acceptance rates.

At the end of the day, LinkedIn is your professional platform, and you should decide how much information you want to share publicly.

It's always worth reviewing your privacy settings every few months to make sure they still align with your goals.

7,000 Followers! 🎉

This week, I noticed that I've passed 7,000 followers on LinkedIn, and I wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to every single person who follows, engages, comments, shares, and supports my content. 🙏

Growing a network isn't just about chasing numbers. It's about building relationships, creating conversations, and surrounding yourself with people who genuinely want to see you succeed.

Over the years, I've been lucky enough to connect with business owners, professionals, clients, networking contacts, collaborators, and some incredible cheerleaders who regularly support my posts. Those likes, comments, shares, and recommendations make a bigger difference than you might realise.

I've even made several genuine friendships over the platform, it's business and much, much more if you use it in the right capacity. 🥰

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make on LinkedIn is only connecting with their ideal clients - such bad advice, as well as only posting business on here. While that builds authority, it doesn't build presence or a fan club that will push referrals to you.

Of course, your target audience is important. But your network should be much broader than that.

Your connections should include:
💜 Potential clients
💜 Referral partners
💜 Industry experts
💜 Local businesses
💜 Networking contacts
💜 People whose content your audience would benefit from seeing
💜 Cheerleaders who champion your business and help increase your visibility

LinkedIn works best when it's a community, not just a sales platform.

Every genuine connection has the potential to open a door, make an introduction, share an opportunity, or encourage on a tough day.
