£19760 - £26000 PA + Benefits

This is a great opportunity for individuals to join an established company who are specialists in their field. You will form part of a friendly team, working in Peterborough.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be expected to have a great work ethic and take pride in delivering a fantastic customer experience.

We operate 24 hours a day in the capacity of an emergency control centre for a number of scenarios including people stuck in lifts or the victims of flooding or fire where excellent communication skills prove to be essential.

Our Customer Service Representatives share this 24-hour commitment with shifts agreed with a degree of flexibility that makes it fair for everyone to pitch in and deliver our responsibility to the community. Flexible working hours are required 7 days a week.

A great attitude with reliability and the ability to learn are characteristics that are more important to us than qualifications but a decent standard of English is essential as our primary function is the transfer of critical information.

Principle Responsibilities: -

Provide a customer-friendly service
Make accurate and detailed reports of each customer interaction
Operate within a number of third-party CRM systems to log requests
Adhere to PCI compliance guidelines
Manage workload the prioritise tasks appropriately
Liaise with clients, customers and engineers to maintain positive working relationships

Person specification: -

Flexible working hours required
Working 5 days out of 7 between Monday to Sunday
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Problem solving
Excellent customer service
Active listening skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
The role of Customer Service Representative is a full-time permanent position, offering a starting salary of £19,760 rising up to £26,000 + with full training and targets.

Full and ongoing training and support will be provided

The Lift/Escalator Industry and totally247 solutions

As a business we have taken over 1 million calls relating to lift emergencies, and our staff are dynamic and quick thinking. This was tested when we received one very memorable call.

It's not everyday that we get a call to report a horse that has become stuck inside a lift....

What was a lovely idea by a care home to provide some animal therapy to its residents, quickly turned into a bit of an unimaginable nightmare. Going up was not the problem, however on the way down both the owner and the horse were stuck inside.

Thankfully due to our fast response time and the expertise of our staff we were able to act quickly.

Such a situation highlighted how excellent our staff are at dealing with the unexpected, in a calm manner and with the ability to put everyone, including the horse, at ease.

This morning I heard an ethereal holy sounding voice in my sleep, "Lazarus, pick up thy bed and crawl....You'll not be using them legs today".....

This must be what it feels like to be in labour and contemplating a second child... [ok so I can imagine]... Did someone mention PLOD 2014?

I ache everywhere, I can't walk properly, my mouth tastes like Mo Farah's trainers and I have a headache = hangover so I must be dehydrated.

All this aside I am incredibly proud to have been part of this sixsome who pulled together to go beyond what should have been possible given the circumstances:

Mike "I play golf, I'll be fine" Dandrilli... Completing the race laced with Vodka and Red Bull who ran up every hill and never ran out of puff... Very impressive.

Stuart "I'll break them in over the first few hours" Williamson purchased a new pair of walking boots on the day (recipe for much pain) I am sure Stuart will regret that comment for the rest of his days, but soldiered on magnificently in severe pain for at least 30 miles to finish in a blistering pace (forgive the pun Stuart). A magnificent effort...

Sonia "I'll talk, the rest of you can listen" Lane led from the front the whole way. It'll come as no surprise to her friends and family that Sonia urged us all on constantly and was a true inspiration forging on in spite of an early knee injury. Only when her worst fear materialised late on when her Achilles finally gave way did the encouragement abate but this was only to focus and concentrate on the prize. When Sonia went quiet, we knew it was serious and as she picked up the pace in the last 4 miles this inspired us even more. Well done Sonia, Fantastic.

The Support Team:

Helena and Michelle: Huge thanks for your massive support from all of us throughout the event. Michelle was keeping us up to date on everyone's support and it really helped keep us going. Michelle and Helena played a massive part, we definitely would not have succeeded without them....They cooked, massaged, sweated, bandaged, directed, supplied, drove and participated the entire length of the course. They should both be hugely proud of themselves for the success of the team.

So far, children's medical research has benefitted by £1397.50 from our efforts and this is still rising. It's not too late to recognise the effort the team has made and its a great cause. We have been proud to make a difference.

Sonia, David, Mike and Stuart have all completed the 40 mile walk for Action Medical Research. They crossed the finish line at 14.17 in second place. Incredible achievement!
