Some of you may have heard already, so I would like to inform everyone directly.
Myself “Zakk Zoot” is hanging up his Open Mic Hat for the last time on Thursday 10th October.
Since the first Open mic on 19th January 2017.
There has been...
142 open mic nights
Roughly 710 hours of live music
Hundreds of exceptionally talented musicians.
And within the time I have been running this open mic night. I have :
Been married
Been divorced
Had two beautiful children
Lost 4 stone
Gone through many issues regarding physical and mental health.

I genuinely do not know where I’d be or how I would have coped with all of it without the love and support of my friends, fellow musicians and of course my Puzzles & Samms adopted family.

It’s been a hell of a ride. A part of my life I will never forget. But every good thing has to come to an end.

So with great sadness next Thursday will be the final open mic night. We will be running it upstairs, and running from 7pm for an extended evening. I would love to perform some songs with any regulars and would love to see as many faces as I possibly can.
