Just finished making a sample Wedding Activity Book for older children. Very much looking forward to exhibiting at the Love & Co Weddings Fair at Thainstone on 4th October. Hopefully get a chance to chat to lots of folk there.

Today I am on a roll! As it’s raining outside, I’ve managed to plow on with my second Kid’s Wedding Activity Book. This time it’s aimed at 7-9 year olds. As before, I wonder which will be your favourite page…mine is definitely Crack the Code.

One more book to follow, but it won’t be today.

Just finished designing my first Kid’s Wedding Activity Book. This one is aimed at younger children and is unique to the wedding as well as being personalised to the individual child. I know which is my favourite page…which is yours?

Here’s a sneaky preview of my lucky thistle wedding favour keyrings. They will soon be available on cards, in gauze bags and boxes, with labels and ribbons to match your colour scheme. Come and have a look at Love & Co Weddings Wedding Fair on Sunday 4th October at Thainstane Mart.

Did you know that Scottish lucky thistle once saved the nation from a legendary attack back in the 13th century? King Haakon ordered his men to take off their boots and creep up on the Scottish army in the dead of night. However, one unlucky soldier stepped on a thistle. His cry of pain woke the Scottish clan who were able to push the invaders back to their ships thus saving the kingdom from defeat.

Now the lucky thistles are traditionally given at weddings as a symbol of enduring love, protection and loyalty.
