Vision23, SMI's Annual Conference, was packed with insightful information, mini games, and teambuilding activities, designed to bring our teams together and build on our relationships with one another. Our final event of the day was our team building activity 'QUBED', which brought out everyone's competitive side when faced with team challenges, and sabotage, as 10 teams battled it out to become the winner for ultimate bragging rights for the rest of the year.

Well done to Grace Bennett and Sian Thomas for winning the 'most distracting' awards, but a massive congratulations to the members of Team 2 who managed to stay on track throughout winning 1st place overall: Elizabeth Mellor, Jo Della-Rocca, Jack Dinnage, Giles Prisgrove, Helen Kimber and Lucas Knibbs 🥳

Introducing Golf Relay... 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️ a invention from our Marketing Department. Starting with two teams, each person dresses from head to toe in full Hi-Vis Workwear and PPE, before hitting a golf ball and passing onto the next person to continue the relay, with the winning team being the last person in the team fully dressed and hitting their golf ball into victory!

Although we can safely say this contained some of the funniest moments of the day, with intense competition and enormous amounts of laughter, we can't see this sport being included in the Olympics any time soon!

Every year, SMI hold an annual conference to celebrate our key achievements as a business and as individuals from the past year, as well as taking the opportunity for the leadership team to share SMI’s upcoming , , and to the whole team.

This years conference, Vision23, was packed with insightful information, mini games, and teambuilding activities, designed to bring us together and build on our relationships with one another. We also had the pleasure of welcoming Bonita Norris, the youngest British woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest at the age of 22, who shared her incredible story of how she achieved her vision, as well as the obstacles that she overcame along the way.
