Please help out Henrietta Farrugia, an IAgrM student member and a PhD researcher at the University of Northampton (based in the Midlands, UK).She is conducting research on Agricultural professionals' (farmers and farming individuals) perspectives on the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in the UK (and Maltese) agricultural industry.

The issue matters as it can help farmers to identify ways to improve their agricultural practice and help to increase efficiency, sustainability and food security. Even more so, as farmers are the backbone of society. This research can help you to:

• Identify ways to improve your farming practice

She is looking for Agricultural professionals over the age of 18 and contacts in your wider network (individuals and farmers) in the following Agricultural sectors: Cereal, Vegetables, fruit, crops and oil crops, livestock (meat) and Dairy (milk). As such, she would like to know your views and opinions on this important and emerging topic by inviting you to take part in an anonymous 30-minute to 1-hour interview via Microsoft Teams. If you are interested and can help by taking part in this important research, or would like to know more information about her study, please contact Henrietta at the following university email: [email protected]. She would appreciate your support and interest in her research.

As the final day of the Farm Management Skills Programme (FMSP) draws to a close, we're delighted to congratulate the 11 delegates who have successfully completed the full programme today at Harper Adams University.

Over the past few weeks, participants from across the sector have taken part in a series of intensive, practical modules designed to strengthen core management capability-covering business skills, people management, communication, decision-making and operational leadership.

This year's cohort has shown real commitment, professionalism and enthusiasm throughout, and we are proud to support the next generation of farm and rural business managers as they develop the knowledge and confidence needed for modern agricultural leadership.

A huge well done to everyone who completed the full programme, and to the many others who joined individual sessions along the way.
