It is always a big day at APTUS Architects when we submit a house seeking Planning Permission.

All buildings are important, but when you have known your Client for 10 years and he and his family trust you with their future it makes you even more determined to do your very best for them. All these years of training and experience coming together in one harmonious project.

Our latest endeavours!

Working with a longstanding Client, deep in the Western 'burbs of Dundee. Infilling a gap site with a contemporary design which will become my Client's forever dream home.

A cracking, but challenging site.

We are still at an early design stage, but modelling in Sketchup is helping my Client visualise the design as we work together.

A really important charity in our local area.

Something I have always taken very seriously. It is good to know that the hard work I undertook when taking this project from detail design through to completion has been appreciated by both the building staff and end users.

An appalling article in BBC News.

Correctly specifying external wall insulation whilst looking at a building holistically, in particular ensuring that any amendments to the building fabric are considered as well as the internal air quality is key to a successful outcome for the householder.

Quality control during the installation process is also very important to ensure what solutions have been specified are installed properly on site.

MPs and Citizens Advice urge the government to address regulation of the sector.

After a lot of work, by a lot of people it was Preview Night at the Enchanted Forest.

APTUS Architects are proud to have assisted in securing Planning Permission for this Event for the next 10 years.
