Big Jobs Require Big Tools!

A new machine has landed here at Armada Sails And Covers. This past month has seen the completion of the biggest cover to date here at the loft aided by the arrival of the new hi tech machine.

Check out the completed cover for the South Sands Ferry. At 9 meters by 4 meters this was by far or biggest cover to date. The team used their exceptional knowledge and skills to complete the cover to spec and fits perfectly, within the time frame for the customer!

The loft has had some upgrades to future proof and keep the machinery up to date. The Pfaff long arm canvas machine definitely does this with its stitch computer and extra long arm covers of this size can be made with ease.

Happy New Year!

2023 has arrived, the loft is now back in full swing with winter maintenance and new covers. The new loft means new opportunities for the team allowing for bigger and more complex covers and sails to be produced and worked on. Exciting news here at Armada Sails And Covers

Armada Sails and Covers Plymouth has moved! Never again do sails need to be carried upstairs to the loft as we have moved downstairs to a ground floor unit at Yachthaven Quay Plymouth. At almost twice the size the team cannot wait to crack on with your next cover. Give us a call to discuss your new cover or pop in and see the team and the new loft.

Been a cold and windy week, but we have been keeping safe and warm in the office completing a couple sprayhoods. We have started working on some COVID screens for pilot boats around the country.

Happy New Year.
The past few months of planning and organising led to completing a new table over the Christmas break.
Although we are in a lockdown we remain open and continuing our work in safety.

Looking forward to what 2021 brings.
