🏆✨ EDUCATOR OF THE MONTH – SEPTEMBER ✨🏆

We’re delighted to celebrate our fantastic educators of the Month for September! 🎉👏

🌟 Sophie 🌟

Sophie approached us over the summer holidays looking for work from September and was completely open to trying different roles and settings.

Since joining Thrive, Sophie has already worked across several different settings for us. She’s taken early morning calls, travelled further afield when needed and has always been willing to step in and help wherever she can.

Sophie has already been an incredible asset to Thrive, and it’s fantastic to see her now settled into an outdoor provision where we know how much the team already value her.

A brilliant example of how being open to different opportunities can lead to finding the right setting and the right role.

🌟 Holly 🌟

Holly recently made the move to Plymouth, and we all know that relocating to a new area can be a daunting process in itself.

Holly approached us over the summer looking for a full-time opportunity, and we were delighted to place her in a primary school in Ivybridge. The feedback so far has been fantastic, and Holly has made a brilliant impression.

Holly has been in every day this term, always bringing a positive attitude and plenty of enthusiasm.

A huge well done to both Sophie and Holly! 🥳

Thank you for all your hard work, flexibility and commitment.

A massive thank you to Plymouth University for having us yesterday at the Part Time Jobs Fair! 🙌

We had a brilliant first day and managed to speak to some really good prospective educators. It was great hearing about what everyone is studying, their future plans and how we could potentially support them with flexible work alongside their studies.

And we’re back for Day 2 today! 👋

If you’re at the fair, come over and have a chat with us about opportunities across Primary, Secondary, SEND and Alternative Provision throughout Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

We’ve also got FREE SWEETS 🍬🍭

Although Tom might eat them all himself… so you’d better be quick. 😂

Come and say hello! 👋

🍎📚 Happy Teacher’s Day! 📚🍎

Today is all about saying a huge THANK YOU to the teachers who inspire minds, shape futures and make a difference every single day.

At Thrive Recruitment Group, we’re lucky to work alongside so many fantastic teachers and educators across our schools. The impact you have on children and young people goes far beyond the classroom. ❤️

Happy Teacher’s Day to all the incredible teachers out there! 🧡

🔐 WE’VE PASSED OUR CYBER ESSENTIALS CERTIFICATION!

Another positive step forward for Thrive! 🧡

We’re really pleased to confirm that Thrive Recruitment Group Plymouth is now Cyber Essentials certified.

As an education recruitment agency, we handle information relating to schools, candidates and staff every day, so keeping that information secure is incredibly important to us.

Achieving Cyber Essentials gives our schools, candidates and partners further reassurance that we take cyber security and data protection seriously.
It’s another investment behind the scenes as we continue to grow Thrive while making sure our systems, processes and compliance standards grow with us. 🔒

National Teaching Assistants’ Day 🧡

Today is all about the people who make such a difference behind the scenes every single day.

A huge thank you to all the TAs, LSAs & HLTAs working across schools, colleges, nurseries and AP settings.

From supporting learning and building confidence to being the person a child knows they can rely on, what you do matters.

Different roles. Same big impact. 👏

Thank you for everything you do. 🧡

20/09/2026

We were really pleased to sponsor the Elfordleigh Proshop Golf Day, raising money for Bowel Cancer West, a charity that is particularly close to the Thrive team, as we know someone personally who has been affected by bowel cancer.

It was even better to get involved ourselves and enter a Thrive team, and after a brilliant day on the course, we came away with a very respectable 4th place! 🏆😂

A great day of golf, great company and, most importantly, helping support a cause that means a lot to us.

🟠 THRIVE IS NOW AN APPROVED SUPPLIER!

We’re really pleased to announce that Thrive Recruitment Group is now an approved supplier through Value Match Sustainability Services.

This is a big step for us and, more importantly, gives schools, academies and MATs a compliant procurement route to continue accessing Thrive’s education staffing services.

Value Match provides a procurement route operating within the requirements of the Procurement Act 2023, with supplier compliance, transparency and capped agency margins built into the process.

For schools and trusts reviewing their agency arrangements following the introduction of the new GCA framework, Value Match provides another compliant procurement route for accessing education staffing suppliers.

That means schools can continue benefiting from the personal, local service Thrive is known for, while having the reassurance of a structured and compliant procurement route.

Through Thrive, schools can access:

🟠 Teachers, Teaching Assistants & HLTAs
🟠 SEND & EHCA specialists
🟠 Alternative Provision staff
🟠 Primary & Secondary specialists
🟠 FE & College staff
🟠 Day-to-day, long-term & permanent recruitment

All backed by our in-house compliance process, transparent pricing and capped margins through Value Match.

We might be a small, local Plymouth-based agency, but becoming an approved Value Match supplier means schools and trusts across Devon and Cornwall now have an additional compliant way of working with us.

And they'll still deal directly with Tom and Ryan, rather than a national call centre. 👋
