Thursday morning filled with joy walking into work - what a beautiful day, (this Westcountry wind is savage though, right?!)

I'm wearing sandals because I'm an optimistic soul, but I fear I've fallen for 'fool's spring' yet again!

It's International Day of Happiness which one reflection feels like a fitting date to finally donate blood to the NHS.

If you, like me, are new donation, I can reassure you that the NHS team are amazing, the snacks (before and after are great) and the donation itself can be surprisingly swift (although you can rest up as long as you need!).

Amazing to meet so many generous regular donors too 🙌
