Thank you to everyone who joined in the West End Plymouth Carnival Parade today! We started and ended with the sun shining and everyone kept dancing and smiling when it rained in the middle!

Particular thank you to Above Bounds Theatre Collective Broken Puppet Theatre Company and Far Flung C.I.C for creating such beautiful and amazing puppets for the parade.

Huge thank you to Crooked Tempo Samba Band and Elements Plymouth for the music, Plymouth and Devon Racial Equality Council for all the craft workshops and the colourful parade props.

Today, I have chosen to close my personal and Clever Cow Consultancy Twitter/X accounts. This decision has been coming for a while as interaction on the platform is now so minimal that the benefit does not warrant my time.

Elon Musk’s ownership, divisive rhetoric and recent inflammatory comments have provided the nudge I needed to leave a space that does not fit my ethics and values.

For the moment, I will remain active on Facebook.
