You can, by training to be a lifeboat volunteer with the Plymouth RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea.

Are you ready to join us?
If you like the idea of being part of a lifesaving team and making a difference in your community – and you’re eligible – we’d love to hear from you.

Eligibility
You must live and/or work within 5 minuets of the Plymouth lifeboat station.
You’ll also need to complete a health assessment, including an eye test, to ensure you meet the health standards set for the role. Further regular health assessments (including physical fitness) may also be required while you are a crew member.
You need to be over 18 and under 50 (inshore lifeboat) or 60 (all-weather lifeboat).

We’ll give you:
world-class training in the different aspects of being a crew member, assessments as you go, so you can track your training progress, the satisfaction of helping the community in which you live or work and the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.
In return, we ask that you uphold our values and act as a role model on behalf of the RNLI. In your induction we will outline the spirit in which we’ll work together to achieve the charity’s objectives.

WORK WITH US!

Barbican Theatre seeks an experienced Dance Practitioner and an Assistant Dance Practitioner to join its team. You will deliver into our specialist Dance and Theatre Performance Training programme for 12-25 year olds. You will need experience in teaching, training and enabling young people, as well as a track record of making performance work of the highest quality. You will create performance work with young people for events both at Barbican Theatre and in the city.
