When a client's laptop screen failed just before they were due to take a couple of days away from work, we made sure the repair caused as little disruption as possible.

🎙️ **Exciting News from Total ICT!** 🎙️

We've had the pleasure of helping SoundWave Radio Plymouth get on the air and ready for its exciting launch!

Our team was delighted to donate some of the equipment needed to get the station up and running again, along with providing engineering support to connect, configure, and commission the entire setup. This included helping create a dedicated **live performance room**, giving local musicians a space to showcase their talent through live broadcasts and performances.

It's been a great project for our Audio Solutions department and a fantastic opportunity to support a community-focused organisation that's passionate about promoting local music, local talent, and local voices.

We're proud to have played a small part in helping bring the station back to life and wish everyone at Sound Wave Radio Plymouth the very best for their official launch on 3rd October.

Some Clients may be expierencing some issues with their hosted phones, this has been reported to our supplier who have an issue with their carrier. This is being looked into as a matter of Urgency.

🚚 **Another Successful Office Relocation Completed!**

We've recently helped a client move into their new purpose-built office, delivering everything from network infrastructure and connectivity through to telephony and the physical IT move itself.

Working closely with the client and electrical contractors during the build phase, we ensured data outlets were installed in the right locations before completing the final fix, commissioning and network setup.

A major challenge was internet connectivity, as traditional broadband services weren't available at the site. After exploring both Starlink and leased line options, we proposed a shared leased line solution with another tenant on the development. By securely sharing the connection, both businesses gained access to enterprise-grade internet while keeping their networks completely isolated. The shared approach also helped make the investment more commercially viable for everyone involved.

To provide connectivity across the site, we installed wireless bridges between buildings, together with secure managed mesh Wi-Fi solutions throughout both premises, delivering fast and reliable coverage wherever staff need to work.

The project also included a new hosted phone system, allowing the client to retain their existing telephone number despite relocating to an area with a different dialling code.

Finally, we assisted with the office move itself, relocating equipment, setting up PCs, phones and network infrastructure, allowing the business to finish work at their old premises on Friday and be fully operational in their new office by Monday morning.
