It’s been a while and a nice break away too but back at it and this week I’ve been in Wakefield replacing a 1.8m paling fence with a giant 2m double sided featheredge board fence, 15m long.
It’s been cold , I’ve got soaked but it’s always nice to see happy customers.

The last couple of weeks have been challenging but enjoyable and the weather behaved most of the time.
Two jobs for very lovely regular customers.
First one in Ackworth removing a block paving patio and path and replacing with light grey porcelain and anthracite coloured border. Thank you Di for looking after me.
2nd job being in Arksey near Doncaster
Where I put in a stepping stone path almost 20 metres long, using Raj Green Indian sandstone pavers and Cotswold cream decorative stone.
Thank you Lucy and Zara, always a pleasure.
Thank you to Lucas for your assistance.

This is ‘The Yard’
My gorgeous wife’s new business venture, a large industrial unit which we have transformed into a really great place for dance etc.
In between my own work commitments I’ve helped by removing an internal dividing wall, counters, cupboards and sink units.
Laid the flooring and put in skirting , made a changing cubicle within the communal changing room and put up the acoustic wall panels and 9 huge mirrors
It’s looking great
Good luck Ruth.

My main task this week has been in helping my besties Gary and Paula to replace their paling fence with a verticalap fence, assisted by my Apprentice Gary🤣.
The first task was to dig out 34 conifer tree roots.
Then remove the old 6ft fence and replace it with a huge 2m high structure.
Built from scratch and double sided so it’s the same both sides.
Massive Thanks to Gary for the assistance and Paula for keeping us in porkpie and chocolate.
A great week.
