I am thrilled to announce that Bridport Business Chamber has invited me to be their guest to speak about Real solutions for High Street businesses on Tuesday 8th February at 6pm!

Here's an overview....

At the last count the UK boasted a grand totally of 5.93 million businesses and, despite all the challenges of the last 2 years, the figures show that there was a 6% increase in new business creation at the end of quarter 2021.
Unfortunately, statistics show that 60% of those don’t make it past the 5 year mark, being unable to weather the storms of economic downturns, fixed costs, inventory, rising wage bills to name but a few.
Nonetheless, there ARE solutions, that, when done consistently produce real results and sustainability and we imagine a world in which the vast majority of business owners can sleep soundly at night without ever having to worry about money!
I have been a multiple business owner for 35 years. After falling victim to the crash of 2009, I tried and tested a new way of working which has lead to extraordinary results! Over £12m in sales during the last 5 years alone!
It wasn’t always plain sailing! As I like to say “I rebuilt my life on very solid foundations, it’s called rock bottom”
I will be presenting the 5 key points which set the framework for my incredible turn around and how this system can be applied to any business no matter what the service or product.

Hey guys 🙋🏼‍♀️

The party is over and now it’s time to think about getting those tax returns in…. right?

Or are you a last minute person who really struggles to deal with the accounts and finds it all a huge chore?

After a year of significant growth in 2020 I knew that my tax bill for that period would be well, significant 🥵

I wasn’t wrong 😅

I grew up listening to my father furiously berating “The tax man”( or “The Revenue” as it was called back then) and witnessing his deep resentment at paying all the various taxes that businesses are liable for. I carried that into my own business mindset journey, and it’s clearly been a bad and very unhelpful attitude 😒

So this year, despite the fact that my corporate/personal tax bill is 100% higher than my previous highest, I took a different perspective.

One of GRATITUDE.

I’m grateful to have had a business that grew by 212% in 2020.

I’m grateful to have the freedom to take charge of my own financial future

I’m grateful that I live in a free world where I am 100% in charge of my own choices.

I’m grateful that as a single woman I am not held back my laws which prevent me from being my own person.

I’m grateful for the lessons about learning how to plan ahead. Work in progress …

I’m grateful for my amazing accountant Alistair Ferris FCCA

I’m grateful to live in a free country which allows me to grow and learn at whatever age.

I’m grateful for our FREE healthcare from our mind blowingly amazing NHS

I’m grateful for ALL the things which I can take for granted, a beautiful home, wonderful children, a fridge full of healthy food, warmth when I need it, a beautiful car, wifi….the list is endless.

11 years ago I was “painted into a corner” both professionally and personally.

I built my freedom in the ensuing years thanks to deep inner transformation and a lot of work.

Nonetheless, when I was presented with an opportunity to work alongside incredible leaders I was SCEPTICAL!

Thankfully only for a brief moment, when I realised that I had jumped to conclusions with absolutely no knowledge of what I was concluding to AND I needed at least to do my due diligence and make an informed decision!

Be open to learn everyday! Show up fully no matter what the flow of life presents to you and truly, it will open doors that you never even dreamed existed!

What if there was a fast, simple and efficient way to create PREDICTABLE INCOME?

Most people know that only 1 in 3 businesses survive more than 3 years, how many actually THRIVE?

By that I mean having a minimum base line net profit of 6 figures and above.

I recently came across these statistics about average earnings in the business world (source: LinkedIn Business) - average £60k pa after 15 YEARS?! Seems like very little recompense considering the risks and effort involved!

Looking at these numbers it confirms, sadly, that entrepreneurial poverty unfortunately is a real thing.

The work is more important than you

People have so many questions about their spiritual growth. How am I doing? What should I be doing? Is it happening as it should? Is it happening at all? There is a seat, a position within yourself, which, if you find it, you will never have another problem of that sort throughout your entire path?

People feel that in the name of spirituality they must surrender money, relationships, careers, hopes, and dreams so that they can turn to the deeper things in life and experience the greatness of spirit.

But what they've done is they’ve surrendered what they used to cling to, what used to disturb them, what used to keep them neurotic, so that now their spirituality can keep them neurotic.
You really should not be involved in the process because it's not your process, it is the process that's trying to purify you. It is none of your business if you will. I know people don't like to hear that, but it's just between God and your being, and the part of you that's in between is going through cleansing. So, you let it be. So how? The simplest way is to stay busy. You stay busy. How?

It doesn't matter but the highest busy is that which is given to you versus that which you choose.

It is in the daily functioning that your growth takes place, it's not off somewhere in “Mystic Mystic” land.

Therefore, is work, therefore is your Dharma, therefore is given to you a reason to awake in the morning, a reason to get out of bed, a reason to dress a reason to bathe, a reason to go and to do your work, a reason to take the energies within you and be productive and committed to what is put before you.

The work is more important than you

The work is more important than you because you're on this earth to grow.

When you feel good you go, when you feel bad you go, when you don't even know what you feel you go, or you don't know why you're going you go, doesn't matter. In other words, it's more important than you.

So don't look back, don't stop! just bury your being into what life is given you to do, don't worry about money, don't worry about relationships, don't worry about age, don't worry about anything, just be willing to put your whole being into what was given for you to do and you're going to grow tremendously.

We are constantly reminded that “thoughts become things” but how about “written words become things”?

In this experiment I conducted a few years ago I was curious to see if the experiment would work for me. The results are irrefutable.
👇🏻
We do not know why it works, it just does. The words on the jars had a direct effect on the molecular structure of the water that the cooked rice contained.
👇🏻
As a result, each batch degenerated differently, and showed us that the most destructive/powerful effect was that of indifference (whatever)
👇🏻

A Philosophy of Success for the 21st Century 🥇🥇🥇

Statistics show that 90% of women never make more money than their fathers..
👇🏻

They also show that 47% of women over 50 have no other source of income other than what they can earn themselves…
👇🏻

That’s leaves a lot of financial vulnerability as often they have taken a back seat on their career to give more time to the family. Not to mention divorce, and other mitigating circumstances…
👇🏻

Also… women are also very good at covering it up… they have a strong sense of pride, and no matter what, they’ll always say “I’m fine” when people ask them how they are…
👇🏻

That was me 11 years ago… I let go of my business career and swopped it for head cook, taxi driver, Playmobil expert, housekeeper and I could go on…
👇🏻

My role in the family business was less influential during the years when my children were growing up and I made a lot of mistakes in shoring up my financial independence…
👇🏻

When I became a single mother in 2010 the domino effect was nothing short of catastrophic…
👇🏻

I don’t regret it - how could I? A mother’s love knows no bounds and I made the sacrifice gladly
👇🏻

Today, thanks to new opportunities to build wealth from home, and a change in mentalities, women are fairing a little better
👇🏻

That said, I’ve worked with 100’s of them during the past decade and the one underlying common denominator which prevents them from having the levels of success they desire is still a lack of self confidence

In my Philosophy of Success I incorporate a system of how to build self confidence over time which has wonderful benefits

Building self confidence, belief, self esteem takes time, effort and consistency. Just like building business the process comes with its unique set of challenges but it always pays off, if we are persistent enough
