Can I ask a quick question? Arghhhhh!
I recently worked with a client who was stuck in a frustrating loop. Without documented processes, their phone and emails never stopped pinging: "How do I do this?" "Where is that file?" "What’s the process for X?"
The result? Total chaos.
Because nothing was written down, the team had zero autonomy. They were stuck waiting for answers, while the owner was accidentally changing the "unwritten" rules daily. Bottlenecks appeared, customers felt the lag, and the team was overwhelmed.
It’s the classic trap of being so busy ‘doing’ the business that you haven’t built the system to run it.
This is where SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) come in: my favorite kind of operational wizardry.
By getting those processes out of your head and into a clear guide, you aren’t just documenting tasks; you’re buying back your freedom. You give your team the confidence to lead and your customers a consistently brilliant experience.
From chaos to clarity. It’s a non-negotiable.
Have you implemented any standard operations procedure into your business yet?
I’d love to know how it has helped your business or if you’ve had any struggles getting them done and implemented?
