As Amy Holding, our Head of Sales, and Lauren Mcnulty, our Sales Operations Supervisor, prepare to head off on maternity leave very soon, we wanted to celebrate this exciting milestone with a special joint work baby shower today.

It's been a lovely opportunity for the team to come together and send them off with lots of gorgeous gifts and cards!

Amy and Lauren have both been such an important part of the business for many years, and whilst they will be hugely missed over the next year, we couldn't be happier for them as they get ready to welcome their new arrivals.

A huge well done to Steve Clarke, one of our amazing employees at PBH, who shaved off his hair and beard yesterday at work to raise money for the Ladybird Unit at Poole Hospital following his wife Sarah’s breast cancer diagnosis in August 2025. 💙

Wanting to give something back after the care and support they received throughout surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, Steve decided to take on the sponsored shave to support the unit.

A big thank you as well to all our employees here at Poole Bay Holdings who have supported Steve and donated so far, it’s greatly appreciated by Steve and his family. 👏

Well done to the PBH team members who took part in The Dorset Mud Run on Saturday in support of our chosen charity, The Dorset Children's Foundation. From muddy crawls to waist-deep water and plenty of teamwork throughout, everyone fully embraced the challenge and had a great time doing it! 💙🏃‍♂️

DCF is a local charity that supports children and families across Dorset by funding equipment, therapies, and essential services that make a real difference where it’s needed most. We’re really proud to be supporting such a brilliant local organisation and incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, donated, and cheered the team on.

Today, Sophie Cooke, our Supply Chain Manager, had the pleasure of attending a Pancake Day workshop hosted by our charity partner, The Dorset Children's Foundation.

The session focused on building cooking skills in a fun, hands-on way, with the children making their own pancakes from scratch.

Sophie said: "It was a brilliant reminder that inclusion isn’t just about being present, it’s about making participation possible. Seeing the children so engaged, proud of their creations, and fully involved in the experience was fantastic."

We’re incredibly proud to support a charity that goes above and beyond to remove barriers and create opportunities for children of all abilities.

A huge thank you to the team at The Dorset Children's Foundation for the warm welcome to Sophie, and for the amazing work they continue to do in our community.

Sian, Beth & Petrina were our final volunteers to head over to Hope for Food, spending time at their unit sorting food donations to help families in need this festive season.

We love supporting local charities and are proud of our team for giving their time to make a real difference in the community.
