๐จ SWL Security News Dump ๐ฐ๐ฉ
Another busy few weeks for our teams, with some fantastic work taking place across the South and beyond. ๐
At Poole BID, Dave recovered approximately ยฃ1,000 worth of stolen goods after identifying and dealing with a non-compliant shoplifter. The recovery included a large number of high-value North Face jackets, preventing a significant loss for a local retailer. Great work Dave! ๐
Our Bristol BID team โ Kayla, Mo, Kyle and Charles โ continue to provide a highly visible and reassuring presence within the city centre, supporting businesses, engaging with members of the public and helping tackle retail crime and anti-social behaviour on a daily basis. Brilliant to see the team together! ๐ช
Meanwhile in Camden, the Camden Town Unlimited team returned not one, but two lost mobile phones back to their owners whilst out on patrol. ๐ฑ๐
The team also located a drug stash during patrols with the local authority. The items were safely seized and taken to the police station for destruction. Another example of proactive patrols making a real difference.
In Croydon, members of the Croydon BID security team โ Warren, Tylah, Charlie and Will โ joined Rob from SWL Security and members of the Croydon BID management team to complete Mental Health First Aid training. Supporting welfare, improving understanding and ensuring our teams are equipped to assist vulnerable individuals remains hugely important to us. ๐ง ๐ค
Finally, a huge congratulations to Billy and the Farnham Town Ranger scheme, as Farnham BID celebrated one year of the initiative ๐
Billy has become a familiar and valued presence within the town, helping keep Farnham safe, welcoming and supportive for businesses, residents and visitors alike. Fantastic work and a brilliant milestone to reach ๐
