360° crane operator and HGV Class 2 operators.

⬇️⬇️⬇️

We are looking for a 360° Crane operator with good knowledge of working in the Scrap industry.

The ideal candidate would need to know how to operate a 360 degree Crane Handler and also a forklift.

Job duties would include lifting scrap vehicles, loading and unloading vehicles and also general yard duties.

Licenses would be needed for both❗️❗️

Key responsibilities of the Crane Driver include:

Ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded in a safe and proper manner
Safely stockpile various grades of scrap metal, and assist with loading and unloading
Ensure materials are stored in accordance with company policy
Ensure daily checks are completed
Co-ordinate with other operatives to ensure the correct processing of all loads
Carry out final inspection of inwards and outwards scrap materials
Communicate with customers, drivers and contractors who visit the site
Ensure the working area is kept in a clean and tidy state at all times
Operation of site based machinery including the shear
Ensure the company Health and Safety policies are strictly adhered to

They would need to be competent, and safety aware as will be working primarily on there own but also with others around them.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00-17.30, including 2 tea breaks & lunch, also Saturday morning 08.00-13.00
