Some of our team had the chance to visit The Royal Mint Experience in Wales, diving deep into the fascinating world of coins.

From discovering the history of UK coins, to learning more about the heritage of our hobby, the day was packed with insight and inspiration. The highlight? Getting hands-on and striking our very own coin to take home!

It was a brilliant reminder of the craftsmanship, history, and passion that sit behind every coin we work with and share with collectors.

This year, 288 Group Ltd turns 80 – and we brought together our team with some key partners and suppliers to celebrate in style.

What began as a small family business in 1945 has grown into a group of 250 people across multiple brands. Friday night was a moment to pause, look back with pride, and thank the people who have made that journey possible.

With singing waiters, a spectacular ABBA tribute, and a birthday cake to match the occasion, it was a night to remember – and a fitting way to mark 80 years of shared hard work, progress, and partnership.

From insightful talks to thought-provoking workshops, we’ve met and learned from some truly amazing people in the digital space.

It’s always a privilege to be surrounded by experts who are pushing the boundaries of SEO, content strategy, and digital innovation. We’re heading back to the office energised and ready to put what we’ve learned into action for our brands.

We’re so proud of the heartfelt message we received from Julia's House Children's Hospice, thanking the 288 Group Ltd team for raising an incredible £8,845.57 in 2024! 💙 From running 5ks to jumping out of planes, our team has shown unwavering dedication to making a difference. And for each amount raised by members of our team, the business then matched it.

These funds help Julia’s House provide essential care to the most seriously ill children in Dorset and Wiltshire and offer vital support to their families. In the face of rising costs and uncertainty in government funding, regular donations allow this incredible charity to plan ahead and continue delivering life-changing services.

To our incredible team and Julia's House Children's Hospices, thank you for everything you do! Your dedication and hard work inspire us every day.

This year marks 15 years since 288 Group Ltd made the significant move from our birthplace in Hertfordshire to our new home on the South Coast in Poole. 🎉

To mark the occasion, we raised a glass with some of the "old hands" who were part of that journey and made the big move with us, and with some of the first people we employed here in Dorset, who are still with the business today.

Poole continues to be a fantastic home for 288 Group. It’s here that we've grown, adapted, and continued to build on the legacy that started in 1945.

Here's to the next 15 years of successful business, and, above all, the people who make it all possible. 🥂
