Super proud to have Aetha sponsoring the 2026 Festival of Design & Engineering at Bournemouth University last week.

For us, this is about more than just putting our name on an event. Sponsorship helps make FODE possible, giving students the best possible opportunity to showcase their work to industry professionals and potential employers.

A huge shout-out to everyone who made this year’s event happen, especially Abi Batley, who did an amazing job organising the show in it’s new home in the Fusion building (massive upgrade from the sports hall!)

Congratulations to Olivia Cole, winner of the Aetha Award for User-Centred Design. Her project stood out for putting people at the heart of the design process, a value that’s fundamental to everything we do at Aetha.

Super proud to be supporting the Awards for the third year running.

This year, Sam has taken the hot seat and generously given up his time to judge the awards on behalf of Aetha.

A huge amount of credit also goes to Brad, who continues to do amazing things to support and champion the next generation of designers through the platform and awards.

It’s such a great platform for gaining visibility after university and helping kick-start a career in design. For Sam, it quite literally did exactly that - he won the award two years ago and, as part of the prize, completed an internship with us here at Aetha. Just a few months later, he returned as part of the team and is now living on the South Coast!

This year there are cash prizes, internships, and 10 students will be selected to showcase their work at the awards night in July.
