My Cricut mat just snapped in half. ✂️💀

Not bent. Not warped. Snapped. In half. Like it looked at my to-do list for the Bowmore Distillery Open Day and said “not my problem mate, I’m out.” 🚪💨

The audacity. The betrayal. The TIMING.

…Good job I’ve got 5 more on standby. 😏😂

Mat number two is already on. Stickers are back in production. The Bowmore Open Day WILL be stocked. The machine WILL keep running. And that mat? Binned. No second chances. 🗑️

A huge thank you to everyone who tagged someone at Bowmore Distillery — it worked! 🥃

I’ve just heard from Lynn at Bowmore and Wild Islay Studio has a table at the Bowmore Distillery Open Day this Wednesday.

This community is something else. Genuinely — thank you.

Now it’s head down in the studio. I’ve got decals to make, ideas to bring to life and a few things I think you’re going to love seeing in person.

I’ve reached out to Bowmore Distillery about the possibility of attending their open day on Wednesday with some of my whisky-inspired decals — but emails can take a few days to come back and time is tight!

If anyone has a contact there, or knows someone who does, I’d love a nudge in the right direction. 🙏

The decals are designed right here on Islay — whisky-inspired, premium quality, and exactly the kind of thing visitors love to take home.

Last week was a busy one at Wild Islay Studio — and we loved every moment of it. 🌊

Fresh signage delivered to the brilliant team at Orsay Seafood and more signage out to the Oyster Shed — two of Islay’s most iconic spots, looking sharper than ever.

We also had the pleasure of working with Elixir Distillery — Islay’s exciting new distillery — creating stickers and decal signage to help them look the part from day one. Always love supporting new businesses finding their feet on this incredible island. 🥃

We’re thrilled to share that Wild Islay Studio decals are now stocked in two locations — the Oyster Shed and the legendary Campbells of Islay. 🙌

If you’ve been waiting to grab something, you now have two beautiful places to find us in person.

And something a little special — we designed a brand new collection of whisky-inspired decals, now available at Campbells of Islay. Because if there’s one thing Islay does better than anywhere else in the world, it’s whisky. 🥃

We also had the honour of creating personalised table name cards for the Fèis 40th Anniversary Managers Meeting — bringing together distillery managers from across the island for a very special occasion. A truly memorable project to be part of.
