Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. I had a long break after losing my partner in February but I’m slowly getting back to my craft work. Here are a couple of toilet bags that I’ve made. They have a wipeable fabric in the inside and come with a handle on the side. I added 2 small handles on the top of mine as I preferred that. I’ve also made some hair wraps from flannel as I prefer that to towelling. As always, if anyone sees anything they would like made for them, send me a dm and I’ll give you a price.

One of my granddaughters asked me to make her a makeup bag with a wipable lining. She is very pleased with this one. She picked the pattern from one of Mama Project's YouTube videos. It has 2 outer zipped pockets and 2 open pockets on the inside. I added a wristlet strap as an afterthought.

These bags were made from a cotton canvas fabric, on the outside, with a corduroy pocket flap and cotton fabric inside.

These man bags were made out of old jeans, so a great way to recycle items you have no use for. I hope you like them.

I've been quite busy lately making gonks. These particular ones are memory gonks as the bodies were made from shirts that my brother used to wear - he passed away last year. So far I've made them for several family members and they've been very well received. I also made my sister in law a handbag from a pair of my brother's corduroy trousers and she was delighted. Although I've made lots of bags over the years, this was my first attempt at a handbag.

It's taken me 13 months (lots going on personally this year) but I finally finished the latest quilt for a customer. It has a total of 614 small hexagons in it and as the customer wanted a pretty fabric on the back of it and I cleared out the local shop of it (the fabric company had no more either) the customer and I decided to make the back of the quilt into a pattern. We're both delighted with how it turned out. The size of it is 101" square (256.54 cm) so it's very big. I hope you all like it as much as the customer and I do ♥

It's been a while since I've posted anything but that's been because I have been really busy lately. I'm currently working on a large quilt made up of several hexagons. The hexagons are little quilts which will need to be joined together to make the larger quilt. I need just over 600 of these hexagons and I currently have about 540 so I'm almost there. I hope you like these bee inspired hexagons

I know I haven't posted anything for a while but I've been busy sewing for customers. The Merry Christmas banner could also be made as a Happy Birthday banner. The red bag is a replacement for wrapping paper. The purple bag is a make up bag which opens flat so that you can easily find what you're looking for. There is also a picture of it open. Ive also made about 50 of the fabric tulips which I posted a picture of in a previous post. If anyone is interested in any of these items, please dm me. I have lots of ideas for next Christmas so watch this space. Please share

Washable panty liners - soft and comfortable to wear. They have a nice soft cotton that goes next to your skin and some press studs to hold them in place. The press studs are also useful to fold the liners into a small package when not in use.

Made with 2 layers of towelling in the inside (no waterproof liner) these liners are not suitable for a monthly flow but are really useful for security from a sudden cough or sneeze.

Some videos I watched suggested using fleece on the underside to prevent the liner moving while wearing it but I found the press studs to be more than adequate so will be using soft cotton on both sides from now on.

Get in touch if you would like me to make some for you.

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I have been busy but haven't really had pictures of anything to post.

I bought myself a Cricut Maker and have been spending lots of happy hours testing it out. I'm still missing an accessory that will allow me to cut out fabric, it's out of stock but due back in at the end of the month. I have created a new logo with it and as I was making myself a new apron, I applied the logo to it and I'm very happy with the result.

I hope you're all keeping safe and well x

I was asked to make some fabric tulips for a customer and they are delighted with them. If anyone else would like some they are available in a colour of your choice (apart from the leaf and stem) for £3 each plus postage. These tulips don't look as nice in a small amount so I would suggest a minimum of 6 to make a nice display.
