✨✨I thought I would do another little hello to all my new followers & welcome to Rags 2 Stitches Wales 👋🏻✨✨

I’m Rhian, the face behind all the alterations🥰

I carry out a variety of Alterations from General Clothing Alterations, Furniture Repairs & Soft Furnishings! ✂️

I have been running this business for over 13 years!! (How insane is that!!)

My interest of becoming a seamstress started when I was 11 years old, where I started making her own clothes! My passion for bridal wear followed after I made my own bridesmaids dresses ..(this was mid 1990s where all you had was crimplene pastel colours with lace and frills - not me at all🙈!) So I made my own and the bug was caught! 🪡💕

I have over 25 years of experience of working on bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses whilst working in various bridal stores along the way! Unfortunately I have had to put this area of work to the side recently from a new full time job.. I like to keep myself busy it seems😂

As mentioned already, I also undertake general clothing alterations and repairs such as replacement zips, shortening clothing and reshaping.
Soft furnishings such as shortening curtains, replacement cushion covers, made to measure cushions etc 🧵❤️

And finally (😅) I have my crafting side where I make Welsh themed cushions - personalised, along with baby accessories including cot sets!
Memory items, using loved ones clothing and turn them into items that can be cwtched and looked at every day 🪽
All these can also be seen on the page😊

❣️I love to provide a service that can bring joy to everyone - even if that’s replacing a zip in your favourite pair of jeans !
