Happy we wouldn’t be celebrating our 40th year of business @ B & E Security Systems - Northern Ireland without this wonderful woman. She’s a brilliant Mother too 💕 I have been so busy being a woman all day at work and home I’m only getting a chance now to mark the day! Go woman … you’re amazing 🤩

We received reports over the weekend that a number of unlocked vehicles were entered and contents taken in the Portstewart area. This has happened overnight in the residential streets around Strand Road area.

Please ensure all your vehicles and houses are locked before you go to bed.

We are continuing to investigate the thefts reported and are asking if anyone noticed anyone suspicious in the area, has dash cam or cctv footage that would assist us to contact police in Coleraine via 101, reference 479 20/09/2020.

It’s likely to be another busy one on the North Coast this weekend and if the weather is good then we can expect an uplift in visitors. In response to concerns from local residents regarding traffic issues we will be running an operation in Portrush on Sunday.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Traffic delays are inevitable but we are doing what we can along with our partners to minimise disruption
• We will be in the area from early doors to keep traffic moving as best we can however your best option is make full use of public transport to make your journey hassle-free
• Anti-social driving and reckless driving will not be tolerated (and don’t even think about cruising along to the Port in a car that’s not fit for purpose)
• Show respect for local residents, businesses, and the wider community by being considerate about where you park
• Above all, have a safe and enjoyable day!
