It’s been a pleasure welcoming our group from Liechtenstein to Portsmouth! 🇬🇧

We’ve loved being part of their journey, helping them gain new experiences, develop their skills and explore everything Portsmouth has to offer.

From new opportunities and cultural experiences to making memories along the way, we hope they’re heading home with plenty of stories to tell! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make their stay possible, and of course to our wonderful group for being part of the experience.

Some fantastic pictures shared by our group from Liechtenstein during their recent trip to the Isle of Wight, organised by IBD! 🇱🇮🇬🇧

The group visited the beautiful Osborne House, the former holiday home of Queen Victoria, and travelled across to the island aboard the world famous Hovercraft! 🌊👑

We love including the Isle of Wight in our day trip packages, offering our groups the chance to explore more of the UK’s history, heritage and beautiful scenery.

One thing is for sure, though… this is definitely a destination best enjoyed in the summer months! ☀️

Over the weekend, we said goodbye to Sophie from Germany, who has spent the last two weeks with us here in Portsmouth and made plenty of furry friends along the way! 🐶🐾

Sophie is a huge animal lover, so we were delighted to place her with a local dog daycare, walking and grooming business, where she could gain hands-on experience doing something she genuinely loves.

No placement is too niche of a request for us! Thanks to Portsmouth’s diversity, there are all sorts of opportunities available across a huge range of sectors and industries.

We welcome learners from all over Europe to get in touch if they’re looking to undertake international professional experience here with us. The more peculiar the request, the better… we love a challenge! 🐾🌍

Our Italian youngsters are now coming to the end of their 4-week programmes here in Portsmouth! 🇮🇹🇬🇧

It has been a fantastic four weeks filled with an abundance of new learning, both professional and personal. They have worked hard, built their confidence, developed their English and, after plenty of day trips, are definitely feeling worn out! They have even made it as far as Cardiff! 🚌

Your English and confidence in speaking have come on brilliantly, and we are so excited to see where all your new knowledge and experiences take you next.

Here they are at their Business Administration and Graphic Design placements, putting their new skills into practice and gaining valuable experience in the industries. 💼🎨

Well done to you all! 👏

It has been a particularly busy week, with a group of 6 learners from Liechtenstein and Sophie from Germany arriving with us. They are undertaking 20 hours of English Language tuition before beginning 3-week placements in specialist industries.

Then, we say goodbye to three fantastic learners from Germany and Italy, who have completed skills-based learning in some fantastic industries: Optician 🕶️, Butcher 🍖, Pastry Chef 🥐 and Cycling & Bike Repair Guru! 🚲

It has been fantastic to see everyone getting stuck into their programmes, developing new skills, gaining valuable industry experience and making the most of their time here in Portsmouth.

Wishing everyone the very best for the next stage of their journey! 🌍✈️

Davide and Rosario are enjoying their time assembling computers and discovering more about the IT sector 💻

Leon is learning all about British butchery techniques 🥩, while Nils is doing a superb job supporting customers at a local opticians 👓

We love it when students share these action shots with us and give us a little glimpse into their experience!

These lot aren’t letting the miserable, autumnal weather kill their vibe! 🍂☔️

We loved meeting our latest arrivals, all the way from Florence, Italy! 🇮🇹💚

Today they’ve got their welcome meeting and city tour, before heading off to their placements on Monday. 👩‍💻👨‍🔧

And honestly… we’ve never known a group to have quite so much planned! 😂 Their itinerary includes trips to London, Wi******er, Brighton, the Seven Sisters Cliffs and even Cardiff! The busiest we have ever known even after 21 years in the game!🚌✨

We can’t wait to see all the photos and hear all about their adventures! 📸🌍
