Doom-scrolling is time-consuming and mind-numbing, and you do it for inspo, but it leaves you feeling the opposite of creative.

Ideally, you’d outsource the work, but what freelance social media manager or creator can afford that?

Since implementing trends into our TOF strategies, we’ve seen a massive boost across our owned and client channels.

Our team has been curating an internal ‘trend watch’ document for several months now. It lists what trends and trending audio are actually going to get more views and attract new followers, for both business and creator accounts, with links to TikTok and Instagram to make it extra easy.

We’ve turned this internal document into an external one which social media managers and creators like you can access it for literal pennies per day.

We have to charge something because we’re an independent business, and unfortunately, we don’t just get sent money digitally or in the post. But we’ve priced it as if you were buying a team member ONE coffee per week, yes, just one. You can see it kind of as a thank you for doing all that admin for you, so you can concentrate on the fun stuff, like creating.

Our team spends roughly 28-32 hours per month curating each Trend Watch, which is a lot of time you’ll save if you don’t have to do it yourself.

It works brilliantly for us, and engagement is up across all channels. We’re confident it will work brilliantly for you, so much so that the first 1,000 subscribers can try it for free. Just cancel within your trial period if it’s not for you, and it won’t cost you a thing to try.

Disclaimer: This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Trend Watch is curated and managed by real human beings. Our team uses the document across our owned and client accounts. You can try for free, and if you don’t want to pay for the subscription but still want to get more views and grow your account, you can simply follow and and copy their best-performing content.

How often should you really be posting on your clients’ Instagram and TikTok to get results? 🤔

Here’s the breakdown that actually works in 2025:

📌 Instagram
→ 3–4 feed posts per week
→ 2–3 Reels
→ Daily Stories (low effort counts!)

📌 TikTok
→ 1 post per day (ideal)
→ 3–5 per week if the quality is there

The secret isn’t “more.” It’s consistency over chaos. Don’t burn yourself out chasing volume without strategy.

Pro tip: always agree up front how many posts clients can expect based on their budget. That way, expectations match reality.

Social media burnout is real 😵‍💫

But when your whole job is social media… how do you take a break without losing clients or momentum?

Here’s what works for me:

📢 Communicate → Set clear online hours and boundaries with clients.

⚙️ Automate → Use scheduling tools, mute non-urgent notifications, and delegate if possible.

📚 Use resources → Templates, calendars, and checklists (like the ones on Masters / ) save hours and reduce stress.

📱 Limit personal scrolling → You don’t need to scroll for “inspiration.”

Taking breaks doesn’t make you bad at your job. Speaking from experience if it makes you better at it.

How to get views in 2025 📈

Likes don’t matter like they used to and if you want reach that lasts, you need to capture attention and spark action.

Here’s what the algorithms want right now:

📌 Instagram → Views + shares are king. Meta’s 2025 update boosts Reels that make people DM them to a friend and make sure you keep them watching past 3 seconds.

📌 TikTok → Watch time is everything. Nail your first 3 seconds or your reach tanks. Layer trends with your niche, and reply to comments to keep engagement alive.

💡 Both platforms reward creators who make people stop, watch, and talk, the opposite of scrolling.

Start with a killer hook. Use trend-smart storytelling. Post shareable content that people can relate to.

Those signals tell the algorithm: “Push this.”
And it will.

Quick quiz: Which social media platform has the most users right now? 🤔

I’ll wait…

No, it’s not TikTok.

Nope, not Instagram.

It’s still Facebook.

Followed by YouTube, WhatsApp, which is mad. And then it’s Instagram.

Here’s why that matters to social media managers like you:
📍 If your clients target older or local audiences — Facebook is still where they are
📣 TikTok has the attention, but Facebook still drives action
🧠 Ignoring Facebook because it’s not “cool”? That’s a strategy gap, not a flex

Know where the people are. Know what they’re doing. That’s how you win in 2025.
