Making Tax Digital is coming… but most people aren’t sure what it actually means.
If you’re self-employed or a landlord, this matters.
From April 2026, many will need to:
Keep digital records
Submit updates to HMRC every quarter
File a final declaration each year
That’s 5 submissions instead of 1.
For some, it’ll be straightforward.
For many, it won’t.
