Enterprise Vision Awards

Enterprise Vision Awards Enterprise Vision Awards shine a light on outstanding women in business in the UK.

The EVAS are the UK's largest celebration of women in business!

The Enterprise Vision Awards were created to recognise and promote women in business. In the UK only a small percentage of businesses are owned and run by women. Only 1 in 3 entrepreneurs are female. So for those women who have taken the leap into business, we should applaud and champion them because they are fantastic role models for the next generation. The EVAS highlight those ladies and in doi

ng so helps to promote female enterprise within the UK and hopefully inspire new enterprise. You can nominate women who you feel should be recognised for their achievements or enter yourself!. The entrants are shortlisted and an independent panel of judges will decide upon the finalists for each category. These finalists then participate in an interview with the panel of judges. The judge score each finalist. If the judges' scores are within a narrow margin, then its up to the wider business community to cast their vote as to who they wish to win. We do not reveal which, if any, categories have not been won outright - this is a great opportunity for all the finalists to engage their followers, customers and potential customers to shout about their position as a Finalist in the most prestigious business awards specifically for women outside London. The winners are announced at a glittering awards ceremony held at The Empress Ballroom, Winter Gardens, Blackpool. The awards ceremony is open to all and is a black tie and fabulous frock event. These awards are open to women from sole traders upwards and the categories offer opportunities for all. The Enterprise Vision Awards obtain sponsorship to support the awards and are in association with Pink Link Ladies Business Network.

Doing the right thing and building a successful business should never be mutually exclusive.

We're delighted to welcome Steve Sorah, Sales and Marketing Director at Trident Utilities, to the EVAS Judging Panel.

Steve also joins us through Trident Utilities' sponsorship of the EVAS2026 Sustainable Business Award, celebrating businesses proving that growth, innovation and positive impact can go hand in hand.

With more than 20 years' experience across the energy sector, Steve has spent his career helping organisations grow through strong relationships, customer-focused thinking and commercial excellence. Today, he combines that expertise with a passion for sustainability, supporting businesses to make smarter choices for both their bottom line and the wider world.

At EVAS, we know many women in business are leading the way when it comes to purpose-driven growth. They're creating jobs, supporting communities, reducing their impact and building businesses designed to last.

Steve understands that sustainability isn't a tick-box exercise. It's about creating long-term value, thinking differently and leaving things better than you found them.

Practical. Insightful. Purpose-driven.

A judge who understands that business success and positive impact are strongest when they grow together.

To every woman who entered the 2026 Enterprise Vision Awards - this post is for you. ❤️

Today, we celebrate our Finalists. But we also want to recognise the hundreds of women whose stories, achievements, challenges and ambitions filled our judging rooms over the past few months.

This year, we received a record number of nominations, entries and applications. The quality was exceptional.

The panel didn't simply review applications and move on. There were passionate debates, lengthy discussions, evenings spent revisiting entries and more than a few conversations that continued long after the meetings ended. In many categories, decisions came down to the smallest of margins.

If your name isn't on the Finalist list this year, please don't let that diminish what you've achieved.

Building a business takes courage. Putting yourself forward takes courage. Sharing your journey, your setbacks and your successes takes courage.

You are creating jobs, solving problems, supporting communities, leading teams, innovating, adapting and continuing to show up every day, often without recognition.

That matters.

The EVAS has never been about a single day, a shortlist or a trophy. It's about shining a light on the remarkable women behind businesses across the UK and celebrating the impact they make every day.

So today, hold your head high. Be proud of how far you've come. Keep backing yourself, keep taking up space and keep moving forward.

Your story is still being written, and we're honoured to be part of the journey.
