Not quite feeling the first of these due to multiple train cancellations this morning, but the glide into terminal 2, plus great staff and security made the final leg towards the aircraft a dream. Fingers crossed for the rest of the trip to Frankfurt.

Last week saw our return of coaching leaders at The Rowan Learning Trust. I’m always wowed by the level of care and commitment that they have about every child within the Trust. Their constant focus on providing the environment to allow young people to flourish is truly inspiring. They also have hidden depths and this clip between Rory and Alastair reminded me of a few of their other talents. 😉

Back in the swing of things after a great Easter break completing a short Camino in Spain. The credentials (below),are checked and verified by the team at the Catherdral de Santiago de Compostela to issue a Compostela - the legal certificate of achievement. This is just the finale, the real value is the journey, immersing yourself in nature, (and all it throws at you), time to think, plus the people and conversations you have along ‘the way’ - priceless.

Always love watching the Olympics and Para Olympics. Some amazing performances already whether athletes made it to the podium or not. The dedication, mental resilience and physical challenge to get up and do it all again, whether in training or competition is such an inspiration. Many interviewed talk of following their dream, never stop dreaming - we applaud you!

Today is ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’. If it’s not something you do already, just consider when you have been the recipient of kindness. Maybe it’s just what you needed and just at the right time. I’ve been lucky enough to have experienced many and I’m forever grateful to both family, friends, colleagues and strangers that just spotted that was ‘the moment’. Don’t delay, go support someone or something and you’ll also experience the warmth of empathy.
