Great to see the latest group of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt delegates at LS UK FIRE GROUP LTD (Nuswift) complete their presentations.

They presented to MD Tim Langdale, John Woodruffe MBA and Brian Butler, showing the impact of their projects over the past 6 months.

In the current economic climate, this work matters. Lean Six Sigma helps organisations reduce waste, improve efficiency and make better use of people, time and cost. It builds a structured approach to solving problems and delivering measurable results.

Well done to everyone on achieving their Green Belt status a strong result and a credit to the team Adrian Kirkpatrick. Certificates to follow.

We were proud to sponsor the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce Manufacturing Forum at Accrington Stanley , bringing manufacturers together to talk Industry 4.0, automation, data and digital transformation.

It was great to see TurnKey Corporate clients in the room, alongside manufacturers we’re meeting for the first time all openly sharing challenges, ideas and real experiences from the shop floor.

🎤 John Woodruffe MBA Woodruffe MB, shared practical insight into how manufacturers are already using automation, smart systems and data‑driven processes to improve productivity and drive continuous improvement.

We also heard strong contributions from Eleri Roberts, Will Kinghorn and Clare Davis, Assoc CIPD at Smarter UK highlighting the support, training and funding available to help SME manufacturers confidently take their next digital steps.

Lancashire is one of the UK’s most manufacture‑dense regions, with over 4,800 manufacturing businesses across the county. East Lancashire represents a significant proportion of this activity, particularly across advanced engineering, aerospace, food and low‑carbon manufacturing.

The opportunity in our region is huge. Creating the space for manufacturers to come together, learn from one another and understand what’s happening right on their doorstep is incredibly powerful and this forum showed exactly why

Over the last few weeks, our Founder, John, has been deliberately practising what he often encourages leaders to do: working on the business, not in it.

That has meant stepping back to focus on strategy sessions with the team, attending industry‑specific events, spending time with peers, and exploring partnership opportunities. While the coming weeks remain busy with training delivery, John also has several exciting days planned in London and is looking forward to sharing more very soon, so watch this space.

In the meantime, John is keen to start conversations with leaders across the aerospace supply chain.

He is particularly interested in:
- How organisations define their pathway to excellence
- What strong leadership and operational excellence look like in practice
- The barriers, if any, that get in the way of achieving that excellence

Feeling very lucky to have attended the BIBAs 2025 last night, and representing TurnKey Corporate by presenting the Scale Up Business Award.
