We're pleased to announce that our AI event is now full!!

Our 4th event at full capacity in 12 months.

Technically speaking the event isn't 'sold out' as it's free to attend, but all the designated spaces we planned to fill are taken.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there who's signed up!

And we can promise - it will leave you walking away with better ideas on how you can use AI and work smarter, not harder in your business, as well as understand risks involved if it's used the wrong way!

We loved attending Rawcliffe and Co Chartered Accountants Charity Ball two weeks ago! Almost £13k was raised by Rawcliffe & Co for two incredible charities: Brian House & Trinity Hospice.

We've got another one in the diary for the 19th September, too at Barton Manor. MJH Accountants are raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity.

We've got 2 places up for grabs on our table. If you're a local business and you'd like to join us, get in touch.

Today it's been International Women in Cyber Day.

It's an interesting one, as the industry is heavily dominated by males!

Earlier this year, we had a young lady called Faith Stratton deliver a short talk at our 'Dark Side of AI' event. She spoke about her work as a Threat Analyst with Huntress, where she basically hunts down the hackers and stops them in their tracks, as part of a 24/7 team.

Would be great to see more women like Faith working in the tech industry in the future.

What a 'ball' we had at the Rawcliffe and Co Chartered Accountants Black Tie Charity Ball at The Winter Gardens.

A fantastic evening & great company, and hopefully a super amount raised for their chosen charities!

We can't wait to hear how much they've raised!

Good luck to those youngsters receiving GCSE results today. We've all been there - collecting those results ourselves as school leavers or going along with our children to get theirs.

Kids out there with a passion for technology, AI & computing - keep exploring, keep learning and immerse yourself in it.

Most of our staff at AMP InfoSys are technical staff who love to problem solve, break and fix things. We all loved gaming and not only that, breaking apart and building computers from scratch when we were young.

If you have a child who's interested in a career in IT, we wish them the best of luck at college or on apprenticeship schemes.

We don't take on apprentices as school leavers at AMP, but proud to be working with cyber security students from our local university in Preston, who have lots of top talent.

Photo: a problem-solving moment between our MD and Andrew, Mark & Jim a while ago, captured on camera.

P.S, And we probably all like a bit of gaming still in our 40s and 50s.
