We are currently seeking a Trainee Data Engineer to join our busy Data network installation team.

Candidates will be expected be working with our engineers as part of a team in the delivery of a wide range of projects completing installation of Category 5e, 6, 6A cabling systems, fibre optic and voice backbone infrastructures.

Qualifications Required: Ideally, a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4, to include Maths and English. Additional training will be provided as the successful candidate progresses with the company.

The standard working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm (37.5-hour week). Optional over time will be available at weekends and evenings.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

We are currently seeking Data Engineers to join our busy Data network installation team.

Candidates will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team in the delivery of a wide range of projects completing installation of Category 5e, 6, 6A cabling systems, fibre optic and voice backbone infrastructures.

To have experience, a good sound knowledge and good working practices on the installation and testing of Category 5e, 6, 6A structured cabling systems, fibre optic and voice backbone infrastructures and AV installations within small, medium and large projects.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements:
• Candidates must live in the South East Kent Region traveling to our customer sites across the South of England.
• Preferably having Health & Safety qualifications/training, additional training will be provided, PASMA and IPAF Training is desirable
• A full Clean UK driving Licence is preferred as a company vehicle will be provided
• An industry qualification, City & Guilds, CNet, BTEC or BICSI is preferable but not essential. Coastal Data Systems will also provide further specific manufacturer cabling system training.

Working Hours
The standard working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm (37.5-hour week). Optional over time will be available at weekends and evenings.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
