We have an immediate vacancy for a part-time delivery driver. The position is for two days a week only (Tuesday & Thursday) and involves multi-drop deliveries and collections to our customers in Kent. The successful applicant MUST be physically fit as there is heavy lifting involved and will preferably have experience in this type of work although full training will be given. Aged 25 and over. **We are hiring**

We are looking for a trainee electroplater/factory hand to join us on a short-term contract, minimum 3 months with the possibility of extending. The right person MUST be physically fit as this is manual work and involves lifting heavy metal items. Manual handling training and PPE (chemicals) will be provided. We work with chemical solutions in a dirty and corrosive environment so if you don't like getting dirty, this is not the job for you! Hours of work are Mon-Fri, 8-4.30pm and starting salary is national living wage. Would suit school/college leaver with an interest in engineering.

With the news of a further lockdown starting next week, we’d like to advise all of our customers that we will remain open and operational throughout, as we did the last time. We play a key role in the supply chain for manufacturing, engineering, automotive and electronics amongst other industries. If, during this time, you start thinking of that old car, motorbike or bicycle in your garage and think you might bring it along for us to re-chrome please STOP and think twice. It’s not an essential journey, you cannot enter our premises as we are COVID secure and our priority will always be with our commercial customers at this difficult time. We will gladly welcome you back with your bumpers and mudguards and handlebars when we are able but for now, please respect that we must concentrate on helping the wheels of industry to continue to grind. Stay safe everyone 🌈

Covid-19 Update. As many of you will be aware, we have remained operational throughout the lockdown, albeit with much reduced staff numbers. We have all of the necessary social distancing measures in place and have had for some weeks to enable our staff and customers to be safe while on our premises. All of our safety measures will remain in place irrespective of changes to Government guidelines which have reduced the 2m distance. You will still be required to maintain a 2m distance while on our premises and admission will continue to be restricted for visitors and deliveries to the yard and main foyer ONLY. Thank you for your understanding.

The second and most difficult section of floor in our workshop is now complete. Angled on two aspects to allow for the run-off of any water from the swills to be directed into new drainage channels and keep the floor free of puddles! Thanks again to Josh at South Coast Tiling for once again bringing the job in on time to our exact specification and in difficult working conditions. Highly recommended for any tiling in a commercial or domestic setting.

*** We are hiring*** Due to the retirement of a long standing member of staff we are currently seeking a fit and active person to undertake our general day to day maintenance of buildings, plant and machinery. The ideal candidate would be experienced with mechanical breakdowns/repairs and some electrical knowledge would be advantageous. We are not necessarily seeking a candidate with formal qualifications but more with an aptitude for 'tinkering' and repairing. Hours and salary are negotiable dependant on age and experience.
